The Breaking GB Youth Camp forms part of Breaking GB’s objectives and strategic aims aimed at nurturing and promoting the sport of Breaking across Great Britain.

Breaking GB Youth Camp is an exciting event dedicated to fostering young talent through a day filled with fun, learning, and talent identification. This event is designed for youth aged 14-18, offering a platform to connect, learn, and showcase their breaking skills. To compete at any WDSF (World DanceSport Federation) Breaking events, you must have a valid, up to date, WDSF athlete e-Card license AND membership to your WDSF National Member Body (DanceSport England / Breaking GB).

Breaking GB, under the auspices of DanceSport England (DSE), has been awarded the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) European Breaking Championships 2022.

The Olympic qualifying period for Breaking at the Olympic Games Paris 2024 is now under way, with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) having approved the timeframe of July 2022 - June 2024.

The WDSF announced the World Championships to be held in Seoul, Korea 21-22 October 2022.

Breaking GB are conducting a UK wide survey to collect data about participation levels in the UK in order to identify key areas of activity and teaching and to also identify the barriers to entry for different groups of people.

The first WDSF Breaking for Gold World Series event in 2022.

The final training of 2022 for those wishing to become educated and qualified in the ThreeFold Judging System will take place on 30th April and 1st May 2022.

Breaking GB have nominated Sam Phillips aka Sheku and Emma Houston aka Shortbread to represent at the WDSF Breaking for Gold Challenge Series Cambrils Breaking Open which takes place on Saturday 16th April 2022 in Cambrils, Spain.

The Executive Board of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) have now published the qualification criteria on their website for Breaking.

WDSF is pleased to inform everybody about the new place and date for the 2021 WDSF World Breaking Championship which will now be held on December 4th, 2021 at Theatre de Chatelet in PARIS, FRANCE.
