Important selection information for WDSF World Championships 2022 - Seoul, Korea
The WDSF announced the World Championships to be held in Seoul, Korea 21-22 October 2022.
October 2022. The invitation (attached) provides nations the opportunity to nominate the best two B-Boys and two B-Girls from Breaking GB to participate. Due to the nature of the timeline and international event opportunities, please see below the events that will form part of the selection for Breaking GB.
Performances in the upcoming 1v1 B-Boy and 1v1 B-Girl at Outbreak (4-7 Aug), the Notorious IBE (12-14 Aug) and WDSF BfG Challenger Series Montreal (4 Sep), along with performances at the recent UK-B-Boy Championships (25 Jun), will be used to select the top two British B-Boys and B-Girls to enter the World Championships. The minimum performance standard will be top 8 finish for B-Girls and top 16 finish for B-boys at one of these events to be considered for selection. Additional performance factors will be considered as per the selection policy.
All athletes who wish to be considered are required to be UK passport holders along with membership to DanceSport England and a valid WDSF E-Card license.
