GB TRIALS - WDSF World Breaking Championships 2021
Breaking GB, in association with DanceSport England and Breakin’ Convention at Sadler’s Wells, will hold the first WDSF World Breaking Championship national qualifiers in London on 31st October at the Lilian Baylis Studio in Sadler’s Wells as the UK’s elite solo breakers go head-to-head at the GB TRIALS 2021.
The event will be staged in the 1vs1 format for both B-Girls and B-Boys. The top 2 B-Girls and top 2 B-Boys will go on to represent Great Britain at the 2021 WDSF World Breaking Championship on 4th December 2021 at the Theatre de Chatelet in Paris, France.
The event brings together the very best, all aiming to establish themselves as National Champions and go on to challenge the greatest breaking athletes from around the World.
This prestigious event is part of the ‘Road to the Paris 2024 Olympics’ which will stage the inaugural appearance of Breaking at the Olympic Games in just over 3 years’ time.
As the Olympic pathway for breakers is set out, there will be further open events and opportunities in the coming months and beyond which will form part of the Breaking GB squad selection process for participation in our training camps and national representation at WDSF European and World Championships in 2022.
