London, 8th September – Following the historic inclusion of Breaking (commonly known as breakdancing) in the Olympic programme, the UK is set to host a landmark event on the road to the European and World Championships, and the Youth Olympics. The Subway National Breaking Championships will take place at Islington Assembly Hall, marking a pivotal moment for the nation's top breakers as they vie for national glory and critical ranking points.

The inclusion of Breaking in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games has already begun to inspire a new generation of dancers, blending sport with music and culture in a way that resonates deeply with young people.

Subway will be at the Breaking Nationals event all day serving up tasty free food samples, including new Subs from their Summer All Star menu – the All-Star Chicken and All-Star Chimichurri Steak, along with Waffle Fries, Cinnabon®? Footlong Churro and the recently-launched Footlong Cookie.
Within the Fan Zone, there will also be free bucket hats with a graffiti artist providing bespoke designs, airbrushing names onto the hats
